The file 'Little XY 3D Printer Model' is (stl, step) file type, size is 252.7KB.
Still a work in progress.
I work at a research institute and designed this to help some frieneds to use these e-trash scrap micro stepper motors to move a sample under some experiment at the XY plane.
This can be useful for anyone that would loke to make a small and cheap 3d printer, laser engraver, small LSA 3d printers etc. Anything that need 40mm of XY travel :D
The movement kinematics is inspired by the Ultimake's cinematic with two axis moving to avoit just pile up both motors adding too much height and leverage for vibration.
It uses 10x bushings from the same old CD/DVD drivers. The ones with a metal car usually have 2 of these bushings each. Be careful to not "hurt" the bushing while trying to remove them. The stepper motor is the symmetric type. The leadscrew's nut will be made out of hot glue or epoxy putty.
So.... That is the plan. Next week I'll post if it worked and any mods made.
A prototype was left been printed and next week I'll know if it will works.
