Little giant inspired working model power hammer. Pikku jätti means little giant in Finnish.
Motor I found laying around (see model number from picture).
Motor dimensions: length 32.6mm and width 29mm.
You might have to modify the motor mount if you cannot find that specific motor, but it is quite easy to form when printed.
Spring I salvaged from a pen.
Axle I used was a 60mm long rod of 3mm steel.
Dies can be printed or if possible it is better to make them out of steel. I filed my dies from 15mm square steel rod. If the ram has some weight, the hammer will work better.
I used 1.75mm filament as rivets for the linkage arms. I heated up the filament with lighter and flattened the the rivet heads with a flathead screw driver.
Foot treadle is secured with pair of dome headed M3x10 hex screws.
Pillow blocks are attached with double sided tape but they can also be glued in place.
Also put small rubber band on the motor drive wheel and piece of a bicycle inner tube to bigger wheel for traction.
See makes section for good information that user NicnacSaurus shared. Might be more useful for people who live in USA.
