I used the Creative Hobbies ML2-B6 Small Christmas Tree Wiring Kit from the following link and modified the base of the source object to mount the 10mm threaded rod using a panel nut (but I didn't have one when I was ready to assemble the cube so I just epoxied the 10mm threaded rod in place after cutting it in half).

I used Cura to generate the lithophanes... I printed 5 panels at 132mmx132mmx3mm (130mm squares up to 3mm thick with an added 1mm border on all sides at the full 3mm). This worked perfectly for the top but the sides would work better at 130mm INCLUDING a 1mm border that is printed at a partial thickness (i.e. generate the 3mm thick lithophane with a gray border instead of a black border as I did).
You will still need the files from the source object, just replace the bottom piece with mine if you are using the same or a similar light source as I am.
