The file 'Lithophane Nightlight Box 3D Printer Model' is (f3d,stl,f3z) file type, size is 4.4MB.
I liked how modular the Lithophane Box by Dip412 looked. So I remixed it to fit my needs/wants.
I used the Lithomaker from Lithophane Maker and I also downloaded their stand-alone free tool to make the lithophanes now as this lets me do this on my personal computer. I like these two applications as they provide good quality lithophanes while being simple to understand the inputs.
I used a G8 light bulb, a G8 Base wire and, a switchable lamp cord. This lightbulb is very bright and cool to the touch. This crimp tool was helpful to make all of the connection work.
Pictures are of completed and failed prints, lighting construction, and brightness. Included is a model for sizing the lithophane used in testing.
I sanded with 150 and 220 grits to get the fitting right. I also used drill bits by hand to open up holes when needed.
