UPDATE:
Hello! Seeing that there have been a bunch of requests to update the size of the models, I'm unable to accommodate everyone (sorry!!). That being said, you may be able to scale these models within your slicer to make it work anyways.
Taking these into consideration:
Original Radius Larger Circle = 19mm
Original Radius Smaller Circle = 13.25mm
We can use a simple formula to calculate the % increase/decrease to scale the models (and you'll probably get pretty close)
Example:
With a new hilt base of 2 inches in diameter, you'll have a radius of 1 inch that is about 25.4 mm
You'd then need to plug the numbers into this formula.
[(NewRadius - OldRadius) / OldRadius] 100
(25.4 - 19 / 19) 100
(6.4 / 19 ) * 100 = around 33.68%
So if your slicer has a scale option and it's a uniform scale, you'd want to enter 133.68%
Please note that this will change the size of the screw holes! After the print looks good and it fits your lightsabers, take a trip to your local hardware store and pick/choose from there :)
Hello Everyone, I've uploaded a new model for the wall mount cup extended which addresses the original issue of very long bolts.
If you've downloaded and printed my models, please share! I'd love to see how everyone's turned out!!
(also, Thingiverse's editor is being kind of weird -- so if you're not seeing the new file let me know!)
I wanted to mount my lightsabers on the wall in a cross and couldn't find any free files so I did what any cool guy would do and made it himself. I hope you all enjoy it!
Finding bolts for the extended cups might be challenging since they are so long and you want them supported in the wall stud. You can counter-sync them with a large drill bit. I plan on uploading a newer model that solves this problem
