Lightsaber stand with LEDs:
I made this for fun and for myself, but noticed many would like to have it. So with these files you can replicate it.
See it in action: YouTube video
Please do upload your own makes to show off and tag me/credit me if you use it anywhere else! I look very much forward to your prints/versions!
For the LEDs, these are the versions I used:
for the saber holder you need LED strips, 10mm max in width: Example
and remote so you can change the LED sequences
(you can of course source them somewhere else as long as the dimensions are the same)
Note: Oleg@4K made a better remix of my base (on MyMiniFactory) of the saber stand to fit the LEDs easier- I added it in the files under remix.
Suggestions:
You can print every part without support, except for the saber holder - unless you use a resin printer, then the support you need is minimal and the result much nicer. But I have successfully printed all parts in PLA.
For the diffuser disc and the plate.stl, use transparent PETG. They are meant to cover up the LEDs and I highly suggest you do not skip that part - it makes the stand look much better, otherwise you see exposed LEDs.
I painted the Star Wars logo silver, but you can do as you like and I think it would look very nice if it was done with a separate extruder/color.
