The file 'Lightsaber Blank Template – Collapsible Blade 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 377.9KB.
I stripped down the original hilt so I could design my own Lighsaber. Now you can too.
I used Tinkercad to add the design elements to the hilt and cap. I printed them in the orientation that the models download.
Once the parts were printed I slid the blade pieces into the hilt and glued on the cap.
I printed all the parts on a Bambu Labs P1P but they will just as easily print on any Ender 3 size FDM printer. I do not have any resin printers so you are on your own. Different print settings will likely work, but I uploaded the settings I used. The settings are not a requirement, just what I used.
UPDATE: I added 2 STL files: the Threaded Hilt and Cap. The threaded versions will allow you to remove the blade pieces as needed. The original Hilt and Cap need to be glued preventing blade replacement. I used support for the threaded cap and no support for the threaded hilt.
If you make and print your design, please share a make, I would love to see it.
