Yeah, me too lol. So began this worm hole lol.

Updates

11/16/24

Switched to gx16 for pedals. Aliexpress and others sell gx16 not 12.

10/25/24

Added pedal support using gx12 2 pin connectors.
Separated each power supply for player.
Removed support for usb/barrel jack. Seems most DIY now are using gx like me.
Tried to make everything as small as i could lol.

10/8/24

Fixed USB sizes.
Reworked a lot of stuff.
New name system in use see index below.

Features:

Multi versions for 1 player, 2 player, & 4 player .
Spot for 12/24v drop down to power solenoids & LEDs.
Spots in front for "Player 1" & "Player 2" in.
USB spots in back for players to go to pc/pi.
Barrel Jack spot in back to power LEDs from drop down.
Everything marked on hub to make hookup easy.

Index:

These parts are named to make your life easy as i could.
HT- is Hub Top. HB- is Hub bottom.
Hub Tops are just marked by player# and LEDs or not.
ex HT-2P-LEDs is Hub Top for 2players and uses LED stuff.
Hub Bottoms are marked by player#, & LEDs or not.
ex HB-4P-LEDs is Hub Bottom 4 players that uses LED stuff.

Build Parts/BOM:

12V/24V to 5V Drop Down
USB-A PCB(x2)
A USB Cord(To use wires from)
Female Barrel Jack(x3.)
2 Male to Male USB Cords
Some good Wire to power solenoid. AWG 22 minimum.
GX16 8pin connectors (x2)
GX16 2pin connectors(x2)

Optional Parts

Foot Pedal
Aliexpress Metal 5 ft cord

Notes:

You will also need a 12 or 24v power supply.
This outputs 5v to the LEDs . Please be aware of this!!
