Summary

This is a fully printed multipurpose stand to mount cameras, phones, Nintendo Switch, or tablets.

The clamp is compatible with common Arca-Swiss style camera tripod plate.

It's a remix of LiftPod with horizontal bars as knob. It has symmetrical threads, making it easier to tighten with multiple locking joints.

If you need freedom of angle, use friction washer for the end clamp instead of locking washer.

All objects are orientated properly. The bolts are printed horizontally.

Print "Base feet" with FLEXIBLE material for friction.

Print settings:

  • 0.2mm layer height
  • No support
  • 4 Wall lines
  • At least 35% infill

UPDATE HISTORY

  • 2020-11-07 - Arm First Symm v1: Teeth groove made slightly deeper.
  • 2020-10-30 - Clamp Frame v2 update: tray made slightly shallower so objects stay still when unclamping.
  • 2020-10-19 - Clamp bolt v2 update. Less likely to strip.
  • 2020-10-19 - Missing "Arm First Symm.stl" uploaded. Incorrect "Arm First v1.stl" removed.
  • 2020-10-18 - Bolt, nut and bar updated. Remove unnecessary chamfer which might cause the hex to strip within the socket.
