The file 'Letter Holder And Organizer 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 5.1KB.
It is a letter holder for envelopes + content, which allows to place letters vertically to save space and should have enough space for a letter amount of around 1 year of a private person.
Main goal was to overcome the yearly letter flood as efficient as possible:
Possibility to store a full letter after reading/or not reading (envelope+paper) and make use of folders with time-consuming unpacking and sorting of the letters completely obsolete.
Different chambers for different topics to cover all the regular needs: bills, banks, official things, ...
Enough space for 1 year of permanent storage. In total estimated letters per year were around 40.
As compact as possible to store in a drawer, therefore vertical letter storage
That's the tricky part. Found none with the compact vertical approach, one wall-mounted (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:604020) and dozens of 1-chamber designs, which did not suit the permanent, sorted, 1-year storage idea (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:660493). So in the end, the available solutions were pretty far away from my needs.
In the end I made my own model, which was already reworked and I think now is "market ready":
Printing time of around 5h in average quality and speed.
Material usage: ~55g
Quite tall structure which may have warping if not sticking properly to printing bed. Printing with raft is recommended.
Bridges on top, longest one has ~15mm. Although not really long bridge and should not be a problem, make sure your printer is capable to print this, otherwise use support structure.
