you can use the Lego plastic rods however they will wear and stick
the two new files for the 3x8 bogie uses a box system for assembly
the idea is to tread 3mm steel bar through threading the wheels on as assembled
its a good idea to use a lubricant in the box to ensure free wheel play
once happy with the result use end caps to keep in place
This Coach bogie can be adapted for any train size including 0 Gauge /Garden railway etc
