Summary

Please check the remixes of MroznyHipis (https://www.printables.com/model/267597-universal-stands-for-lego-star-wars-x-wings-shuttl), he took it further and made many (I mean MANY) variants.

This stand is designed for the Lego X-Wing 75102. The model is tilted at 45° so it looks like in action.

Should work for other X-Wing lego models of the same size, and for smaller models (though the stand may look oversized), or for other types of Lego models I suppose.

Required hardware :

  • an M4x30 self tapping screw
  • a 4x2 standard Lego brick

There are 3 parts :

  • The base has two variants : the rectangular base and the V-shaped base. Both work, but the V base is more stable for less plastic.
  • The arm is screwed to the base with an M4x30 self-tapping screw.
  • The head slides on the arm.

You also need to sacrifice a 2x4 Lego brick and insert it in the head part (don't worry you can take it back whenever you want :-)). I wanted the model to be firmly fixed, so I didn't took the risk to print Lego studs by myself.

Everything should fit, even the lego brick, but as always, it may depend on your printer. I joined the Fusion files if you need to adjust some tolerances. You can also (relatively) easily change the parameters of the base, arm (tilt angle, height) or head for your needs. Feel free to remix.
