The file 'LEGO Minifig For Large Scale Printing (retro Space Person) 3D Printer Model' is (STL,max,ai,pdf) file type, size is 10.1MB.

Summary

Update 3:
I have added the artwork for the face and chest stencils. I have not printed and tested this yet.
i also want to strongly encourage anyone printing this to check the fit of the large pieces before printing all of them. i did this by slicing the interacting bits off the main pieces and adjusting things until they fit. How much work this is depends how well you want everything to fit.
i also found that bonding thin strips of material inside areas like the head and wrists and body can help have fine control over the feel of the fit after printing is complete.
if you print from ABS you can use acetone for this weld. if you use PLA you can use SCIGRIP 4 or 16 to weld the material.

Update 2
i have updated all the STL files. i have now printed all these out and the joints are working with little to no work after they print.
i have also made them the scale i printed them at rather than 1:1 to the original minifig size.
the wrist joints alone took about 15 versions to get them to snap in, be removable, and hold their position when rotated.

i am still working on the face and chest artwork, but it should be done within a week. (1/3/2019)

Update 1:
i am continuing work on this model.
i have separated the studs that go into the torso so they are printed desperately. this is intended to limit the reprinting as you tweak thinks for your printer. I also found an error in the original part. I have deleted it until i can test print it again.
i still need to refine / verify the arms, hands, helmet, and backpack.
I am currently reprinting the top of the hips.
if your printing this i suggest starting with the legs and head while i finish up testing the other pieces.
i will also include vector files at some point for the face and chest graphics so you can produce stencils to spray those features on.
additionally the next version of the max file will have both 1:1 scale and the model nattily at 1500% scale as that is the scale i'm making mine at.

I modeled this to be as close to the actual lego parts as possible and still work at 1500 percent scale.
i have tried to design it so all the parts that require super tight tolerance for the figure to work are small so your reprinting waste will be limited as you adjust for your printer.
they are being designed to be printed from PLA on my Ultimaker S5 with a .8 nozzle

by the way... at 1500 percent the torso barely fits into the S5 build volume.

you can watch the bits print for the next week or two here:

i am still printing this and have to model the helmet and backpack still but the legs all work fine, as does the head.
i still need to test the arms and hands but i will keep this updated until im done.

i have added the 3ds max file as well.
i got the arms from some free download but for the life of me i cant remember where they are from, i have modified them extensively and they still need further modification to work properly so dont print those yet.

i will spray the face and chest graphics on when its done.
