This is a remix/combination of 5 different projects: lego duplo wagon passagers by fsa, Duplo compatible fully printable train wagon by nirgal, Duplo train wheels by YorickDesign, Duplo 4 wheel cart 2x6 brick by Non-ICE and Yet Another Duplo Brick Generator by badger.
I modified all the objects in TinkerCad to add Duplo compatible connectors and additional modifications for size and strength.
The result is a stronger train car that can be printed in PLA, fully snap together and survive harder play from my 3.5 year old son.
I took the cabin and roof from lego duplo wagon passagers and shortened them to fit the Duplo compatible fully printable train wagon. I then created a 4x1 block using Yet Another Duplo Brick Generator and attached it to the cabin in TinkerCad (allowing it to snap on to the platform).
I also modified the roof to thicken it and add a row of Duplo compatible connectors from the platform of Duplo compatible fully printable train wagon.
I modified the platform of the train wagon to add a socket for the hook connector post and extended the post from the frame to lock into the socket (for strength when my son pushes/pulls the trains aggressively).
The frame has been modified to elongate the post for the hook, add 2 additional horizontal support beams (one along an axle and the other vertically to stabilize the hook post).
I then added and modified the wheel connectors from Duplo 4 wheel cart 2x6 brick to fit the wheels from Duplo train wheels (which are included in this print, but unmodified).
I've included an Alternate Roof model which is just a shortened version of the one from lego duplo wagon passagers by fsa if you prefer to print the train car without the Duplo compatible connectors.
