The file 'Lego Bricks – Kit Card 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 38.9KB.
After seeing other makers in the 3d printing community creating their own "maker coins", I decided to push my CAD skills and make my own! Lego bricks are an interesting 3d printing topic because a brick can be printed for a 3rd of the cost* of the offical part (see my maths bellow as an example). However bricks have a very high tolerance which is not achievable with a consumer FDM printer, but good calibration gets you close.
I followed the offical lego blueprints and created 1x1, 2x1, 3x1 and 2x2 bricks. You must first achieve a near perfect level bed as well as a perfect offset height. I used 80% flow on the first layer to help eliminate elephants foot.
