Inspiration

I love lego bricks, marble run and eggs, who doesn't? It's so sexy I can't wait to tell you more about it...

I assume you have a kitchen, and as an egg lover you may have eggs around that kitchen, scattered everywhere, with no chance to distinguish the fresh ones you just bought today from the eggs you purchased a few days ago. Also, like me, you can't just go and buy a tupperware to store eggs already made by some plastic company, you have to build your own plastic stuff.

Inspired primary on Marble Run toys for marbles, not eggs, with the "all fits all" mentality from Lego Blocks, this system will allow you to build a slide configuration that will bring joy to your warm heart everytime you pick up an egg... and the rest roll down like rocks or marbles.

New eggs are placed on top, while you take eggs from below, optimizing the freshness of your inventory.

Pieces and how to print them

Some notes first:

• The STL files are not oriented for optimal printing time and use of supports, they are oriented as you have to use them. I don't know what printer you have, what materials you plan to use and honestly I don't care, I assume you know how to use your printer and the best slicer setup to get things created. I use an Ender 3 v2 and PLA, and slice with super fast print setups with crappy quality most of the time, but I don't judge your hardware or talk about mine.
• There are some parts with curved shapes, they all go in the same direction, if you want to have them in the opposite direction don't ask me to upload a new version, just use the mirror option available on all slicers. In the case you decided to use a Slicer without a mirror feature... I will judge you.

Ramps

Those pieces where your eggs will lay and roll.

• Ramp3Eggs-Straight: This is a straight ramp with inclination. The "3Eggs" you see in the name means 3 eggs can lay on it, maybe more if you like small eggs, I'm a Jumbo Egg myself.
• Ramp3Eggs-Curved: This piece is a ramp with inclination that do a 180* turn. The "3Eggs" you see in the name makes no sense, it fits like 5 Eggs. (Use mirror if you want your curve to go to the other way)
• Stop: Once your egg get to the end of his journey you need something to stop it, like when you go to the waterpark and the slides have a plain area that ends in a concrete wall.
• Stop-Curved: That one is like the Stop but with a 90* curve, useful to bring the next egg to hit the pan closer to you. (Mirror for rotation here again)

Elevations

Those pieces that will bring your roller coaster up to the sky.

All elevation files start with "Pillar" then followed by two numbers separated with an "x". The first number is the amount of columns that elevation has, the second how many levels that piece brings the ramp above up. I offer you the following options:

• 1x0.5 (Half) - This is useful to leverage the middle part of curved ramps.
• 1x1
• 1x2
• 1x5
• 2x1
• 2x2
• 2x5

Accessories

• BaseHolder: This is a long piece with holes to connect pillars that need to be reinforced.
• Taps: Tiny pieces to cover the holes on top levels, you have the "x1" for single pillars and "x2" for double pillars. Also taps will strengthen your build.
• Guardrails: they came in two options, 180 and 90 to be mounted on top of Stop-Curved and Ramp3Eggs-Curved. If you like to be on the edge, it's not necessary, I test it a lot and just had a few egg accidents that someone else cleaned up for me, but if you want to be safe, it's recommended.
• Union: It will help you join pillars if you need too.

Assemble

Turns out, I decided not to give you assembly instructions but I will give you some tips instead. Ramps will increase your height in 1 pillar unit, so if you join two ramps together, the first one will be on ground height, the joint between ramps will be on 1 pillar unit height so you will need two Pillar-2x1 and then the top will need two Pillars-1x2 and a BaseHolder to connect those last two pillars.

If you don't understand the above, just start printing stuff and what you need to assemble will start to be obvious.
