Summary

I got tired of having to turn on room lights to see my print so designed a no-glare mount for a LED strip. This mount fits inside the upper frame of the Pro, so the light shines down on the plate and not where it's not wanted. Print in white (or shiny silver) to reflect light down.

From my understanding, the Pro has a plastic cross-brace, while the non-Pro has a 2040 aluminum brace. This will probably only work for the Pro with plastic. Likely you can use the light strip, without my mount, if you have the 2040 brace.

For best results, while holding part in place, with flat side up, and centered left/right, drill two 1/8" holes through the plastic frame into your mount.

There are 2 mm holes along the length for tie wraps to secure your lighting. I used the 24v slot rail strip from PrinterMods, but had to lengthen the wire by about 2 ft.

I tucked my wires under the blue plastic strip that houses the filament runout wiring.
