BIG THANKS to Opossums for this great Lamp! I Love it!
Also a BIG THANKS to hasancakiroglu for inspiring me and helping me out with the dualwhite-ledstrip technology. You can find his awesome make here: https://www.thingiverse.com/make:589238
I thinkt that making this lamp in dualwhite really pushes the lamp to the next level!
I don't needs colorful light (red, blue, etc....) on a working place, but dualwhite (changing warm/cold seamlessly) is a real benefit for the eyes and hasancakiroglu was the only one who made the LED-Bridge-Lamp this - in my opinion: much better - way. :)
But starting to print was a little 'pain in the ass'. I Started with PLA and the connectors from the Segments broke when connecting each other. So i decided to strengthen them with meshmixer, but they mostly broke anyway. So i have to glue most of them together.
Moreover i used LED strips (for 3- pole dualwhite stripes) which have a with of 12mm, so i had to completely redesign my own LED-Channels with Fusion, so they will fit for my wider LED-strips.
I added the new LED-Channel for 12mm LED-stripes here, maybe it is useful for someone of you. But keep in mind that this is scaled to 95% in comparision to the original files, so check it out first if it fits to your needs, otherwise you have to scale it up to your needs.
By the way: I printed them with Brim for good bed adhesion.
Just feel free to tell me in the comments if the redesigned LED-Channel was useful for you, would be glad to help someone with that redesing - sharing is caring my friends. ;)
I also changed the Segments with Meshmixer in two ways (also scaled 95% from the original parts):
First, i extended the connectors and made them a bit stronger to avoid breaking that easy when connecting to each other (but the still break sometimes) and second i also extended the footbridge for fitting to the actuall with of the LED-Channel when you slip them in to the segment.
But be aware: Pprint out ony one full segment and one LED-Channel to proove if it fits together for you.
