I really like the Radiant Blossom tealight lamp by areynolds15 but I wanted it to be more practical for outdoor and daily use as my wife and I like to sit and eat dinner on the balcony.
This LED base contains a standard 4xAA battery holder. The lid of the battery compartment simply clicks in place, no screws needed.
Also, there's space for your electronics such as DC-DC converter, LED-driver, RGB-controller or just a resistor…
I suggest taking a cheap warm white 1Watt LED on an aluminium heatsink (star PCB) and run it at 40-80mA. This gives plenty of light and the LED stays cool.
Easy to print, no supports needed!
