I created this leaf guard for the 40mm drain pipe of our winter garden and so far (after several months) it did the job quite well.
The guard is split up into two parts which are meant to be glued together (see pictures).
Rafts: not needed
Supports: I printed the upper part with support. To make the removal easier, I recommend to configure your slicer in a way, that the support only touches the buildplate. After you probably won't see your drain guard every day (so you don't need the best-looking result), you can try to print without support.
Resolution: 0.2mm worked fine for me
Infill: at least 25 percent
Filament: the guard used outdoors so I used ASA-X (Redline) to withstand all weather conditions
