I wanted a cheap lead free alternative weight for carp fishing.
The design uses M14 nuts.
Due to the different densities of lead and iron, the weights are heavier above water than in the water.
4 nuts: Over water ~90 grams, under water ~60 grams
3 nuts: Above water ~70 grams, below water ~45 grams
What you need:
Swivel or ring swivel (size 4, at least that is what it says on the ones I used).
A bit of filament to secure the swivel in the head of the 'screw'.
M14 nuts, iron, not printed ;-)
It may be necessary to use tools to screw the nuts on, it is a bit tight.
