Summary

A printable axle housing that uses the same hardware as a Currie F9 (Capra axle) except for the axle shafts because the diff is off-center.

You will also need a few M3 screws of different length.

I printed every part in PLA+ (Eryone brand from amazon) with a wall width of 0.6mm.

I suggest using 0.16mm layer height for the axle housing itself, everything else prints fine at 0.2mm.

100% infill for everything, it needs to be as strong as it possibly can.

You will need a bit of super glue to fix the brackets in place on the axle.

Every STL file is already in the correct print orientation. Do not change the orientation, it is required for part strength. (That is also why the brackets need to print separately and be glued on)

Print a mirrored (left-right) housing for the rear axle if you're building a 4WS rig.

You will need support for every STL except the bracket set and the diff cover. (The supports for the diff cover are already baked-in the 3D file because otherwise it was a pain in the ass to manage with the slicer)

So far it's holding up surprisingly well for a printed housing. (Or for any housing actually, I have been using these for the whole summer now and they do not break under normal use). My rig is a very low speed technical crawler however. I don't think they would hold up too well for bashing.

They wont fit on a Capra, or at least not using the original suspension links. I'm not sure if it is possible at all because of the required clearance for the new servo location. It might be feasible using some custom bent link but I haven't tried.
