When I build prototypes using FDM, I sometimes experience delamination and breakage of my 3D-printed parts. It is not always possible to rotate the part to optimize strength, which can lead to adhesion and delamination issues.
I have found it challenging to find a reliable test to measure delamination. Therefore, I developed this test model. It might not be the most advanced, but it provides a sense of the material's "brittleness." The project is still under development.
To test the materials, I print 3-5 test rods of each material and compare them to gain a better understanding of their properties. I hope this model can help others in similar situations to improve their prototypes and avoid delamination problems.
