A small two-story house for 28 mm wargaming. It is supposed to represent a typical european house and measures 150 x 100 x 135 mm. The upper floors and the roof are seperate pieces and can be removed individually. Small tabs and notches help align the floors.
The design calls for 3 mm thick material. I used MDF for all the structural parts and thin cardboard for the roof tiles. The roof tiles are cut in strips and aligned with the horizontal lines on the roof sides. Around the chimney some cutting and matching of the tiles is necessary, but easily done.
Otherwise the assembly is pretty straight forward. All pieces are aligned with tabs and notches and it should be obvious what belongs together. The only detail I would like to point out is the lower window sill. It is 1 mm wider than the top part and stands proud of the outside wall. The difference between the top and the bottom part is small and can easily be overlooked.
I also included a 3D file to help figuring out what goes where.
