This is a remix of a design from Glowforge groups that apparently is no longer relevant for Glowforge because software updates keep the gantry from clearing the hold down. (https://community.glowforge.com/t/3d-printed-neodymium-magnet-material-hold-down/28003/14). This actually fixes that problem, though it does not have the pretty wood inlay layer any longer.
There are 3 STL files, targeted towards 3 different thicknesses of material: 1/8", 5/32", 1/4"
I find that there is some variation in the 5/32 material we've gotten, so I may post a revision to that version that is a few microns thinner after some more testing.
You'll notice 3 different colors in my picture, because we color coded the three different thicknesses for ease of use. All three use the same Neodymium magnet from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MSTKTSF/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_kBw7Fb2RM2QZS?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Note: I find these are too large to work well on the edges of the honeycomb, so I designed my own magnetic edge hold downs from from scratch, which take into account that surface is raised from the honeycomb bed itself. You can find them here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4703635
