DIY laser. Simple. 2020 V-slot aluminum extrusions. Reliable. Low cost. Easy to build. Low parts count. Off the shelf components. Open Source hardware and Software. Customizable, make any size you want.
Other stuff you need: GT2-6m belts, DLC32 v2.1 motherboard, 2pcs 8825 stepper drivers, 2020 V-slot aluminum profiles, NEMA 17 stepper motors, corner brackets for 2020 alu profiles, Idler pulley kit, POM wheels with bearings, 5mm and 3mm screws in different lengths. Aquarium pump and 4mm hose for air assist(optional). 5 core wire-(3cores for laser and 2cores for X endstop, for the other axis I just used the wires that came with the motors).
There are plenty 3d files you can download for the laser module holder so i did not include that part since people will have different sized modules.
I did not use the "slider" and "limit switch" 3d printed parts on the build on the pictures.
