I wanted to create a fog machine effect with a laser diode to create the foggy water look, but all of the lasers were 30-50 bucks. You can instead diy one by purchasing a laser diode (make sure its the line one, NOT DOT), then you need to power it with 3.7vdc, so i had a buck converter laying around and needed a housing that allowed adjustment.
