This wall-mounted truck-shaped holder is for displaying matchbox sized cars.
This THING is made from a combination of 3mm and 6mm MDF (Supawood) for a 3D effect. Since my laser only has a 40cm x 30cm cutting surface, I needed to split the base into two separate cuts, but these get joined together with the frame and the side tank, such that the join line is barely visible. If you have a larger cutting surface then simply join the two base pieces together. The two fenders/bumpers, side tank, top wheel segment, and wheel caps need to be glued on as there are no other pieces to lock them on. (I also glued the door, even though it is held in place by the mirror and door handle). The red line on the one wheel segment was engraved on to use as a guide for the alignment of the wheel cap. The signage (included in the file) was decoupaged on last as a nice touch, but this could alternatively be engraved on, if required.
