This is a universal spool holder which uses 2x 608 bearings to reduce drastically the rolling friction of the spool.
To make this you need to laser cut 4 parts (2x Base A, 2x Base B) in 5.5 mm MDF. If you want another width the only thing you have to do is open the Base A DXF (the big triangular part) and replace the square slots with the desired width.
After laser cutting you can glue the 4 pieces together and paint the holder, then you insert the two 3d printed bearing holders. You need to cut an 8 mm in diameter wood rod to aproximately 8 cm and insert two 608 bearings, then placing the rod on top by inserting the 2 bearing in their slots.
