This is a sneeze guard that I constructed for the teacher's desks at the school where I work. It has a gap at the bottom where students can place their books, so that the teachers may instruct them/help them all the while both student and teacher are protected.
The legs are a bit oversized so that it is possible to have quite wide/high Plexiglas and still keep it sturdy.
The design uses 6 mm MDF/Plywood for the legs and 4 mm for the rest of the parts. It is designed for 4 mm thick Plexiglass. Eight 3 mm screws and nuts are required. I also used washers for the screws, but that is not strictly necessary.
