Mini spools 50mm ID , laser files, and rectangular piece can be rolled up to diameter of 50mm or greater, (left plenty overlap)

Denser cardboard is ideal, I used some pieces of USPS box 2.75mm thick, and had a cardboard cylinder left over from something, 50mm ID,

Make sure to use high temp melt only hot glue, low temp or dual temp glue will melt when you are dehydrating filament at 80C or so. most all glue will fail at these temps wood glue, super glue,

epoxy works but its over kill,
high temp glue sticks are the best option

cut out to spool ends first, then you will have two a 50mm diameter circles as waste . then cut out cylinder form cardboard roll with ID of 50mm or greater , or print rectangle and you can wrap it around the two 50mm diameter waste circles then hot glue , the hot glue both ends to cylinder.
