Summary

Help get the most out of your drip irrigation system by laser cutting this dripline anchor for your drip irrigation system. The positioning of driplines is a crucial element of dripline irrigation systems. Use these anchors to improve your dripline efficiency by anchoring your dripline to ensure precision placement. Using a toothpick as a friction fit hinge/pin makes the design simplistic and accessible. Creating this structure by laser cutting it means that a single anchor can be created in under three minutes.

This dripline anchor was designed to clamp onto a 1/4" hose, but can be manipulated to fit any sized hose desired. The anchor was built using wood, however, other materials that your laser is capable of cutting should also work. I also sealed my wood with varnish to protect it from the elements. I also preformed an experiment with flex seal to see how much additional life I get by coating the lags.
