A minimalistic laser cut stand for decorative plates.
The diameter of the plate and the angle it sits at can both be customised using the variables at the top of the file.
I've personally used this with a 255mm diameter plate (see picture), so only that size as been confirmed as good.
NOTE: The included SVG file is for a 255mm plate at 15 degrees. If you want to make this for a different size plate you will need to download the .scad file, edit the parameters and produce the SVG file yourself as the customizer only generates STL files for 3D printing (this model really isn't designed to be 3D printed!). To generate a 2D output go to the bottom of the SCAD file and uncomment builditems2d();
The pieces really need glueing to make the stand rigid, but it does just about work without.
