Christmas advent box containing 24 drawers.
This was laser cut primarily from 3mm MDF, with the drawer cover plates, numbers and writing cut from 1.2mm MDF. A 3mm thickness could be used throughout, just the drawer handles will then need to be lengthened slightly. The back is designed as two pieces to fit together as my laser cutter was too small to fit as a single cut. I then glued a support piece across the join at the back to provide additional strength. I engraved the numbers (marked as red lines) lightly onto the drawer cover plates to act as placement guides when I glued the numbers onto them.
