Summary

This is a lasercut birdfeeder, with an integrated holder in the back for holding an old cell phone or camera to take pictures or videos of visiting birds. Lasercut from 5.2mm plywood. Designed so it will hold itself together without glue - you can glue it if you want but it isn't necessary and will be much easier if you do glue it since you don't need clamps.

Assembly instructions.

1) Chose a side, and determine which side you want to face out, taking care at each step to face the boards the way you want
2) Place floor (with holes), two roof pieces (of equal length) and the long length of the roof into appropriate notches
3) Place rubber band holders into backpiece (the one with the cell camera cutout)
4) Place backpiece into side
5) Place tabbed backcover (with no cutout, but extending tabs) into place
6) Place side on book, so that there will be room for the tab to fall
7) Place other side, adjusting pieces until they fit into appropriate notches
8) Place holding rails (there are 4) into the rectangular slots
9) Slid holding rails tight into slots, this will hold feeder together
10) Tie a string from front hole to back hole, repeat for each side
11) Tie a loop in each of these strings at balance point
12) Tie a loop between these two strings, in order to hand feeder
13) Place an old cellular phone or camera into the birdfeeder in order to capture photos or video of birds feeding.

*Note - On the Google Play store there are apps for free download (Open Camera) which allow you to manually focus and record video.
