Summary

This is a remix of the Laptop Stand by JannesV (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2458297)

A little bit of background, I have a low tier (aka cheap) gamming laptop, a Gigabyte G5. It goes pretty warm, and I have a lan party soon, so I start checking Amazon and the likes for cooling accessories. As you can guess (and probably check by yourself) all of them are cheap perfored sheet of metal with even more cheap fans.

So I started my design proccess, I took the legs of JannesV (thanks), and add some supports for the fan, in this case, the fan is a structural item also (I don't like really print big bulky structural parts). The bracer keeps everything together.

I also bought from aliexpress a voltage booster usb-to-12v, so you can cut the end, solder a female 4-pin fan connector and be on your way.

The clamp part is optional, but recommendable if you have a heavy/bulky laptop, in my case was neccessary. It holds itself with the laptop in place, but I glued it for convinience. You will need 2 of them, one for each side.

Items I used:
-200x200 fan in my case a Cooler Master SickleFlow 200, but it should hold any 200x200 fan with no more of 30mm of depth
-usb-to-12v booster
-female 4pin fan connector (you can cut this from any extension, even so, the Coolermaster comes with one)
