Well it’s that time a year again, I wanted to start the new year out fresh and organized. I replaced an old laptop stand made of scrap wood and designed a new one using the 3D printer and some scrap pieces of wood. I wanted something that looked more modern and would allow air to flow around the computer on the bottom plus allow for cables to pass through if needed. Finally I added a small 3D printed mount for my usb adapter which is required to do just about anything on a Mac book…
I now use the larger V1 as a laptop stand to stack different laptops, V2 work well as a monitor stand, in fact the version I make in this video is now used as a monitor stand in my Son's room
V1 is 241.3mm (9.5") Deep and 95mm (3.75") Tall.
V2 is 190.5mm (7.5") Deep and 95mm (3.75") Tall.
You can adjust depth with scaling your slicer without issue. Be careful of scaling the height as it will affect the slot for the wood
