Laser cut from a 5mm sheet. Cut black and blue lines, engrave green fill.
Insert the spiky side wall parts into the legs. Use two pieces of dental floss or similar to tie diagonal corners together under tension, wrapping them around the corners of the walls. This prevents the structure from twisting and adds additional friction between "walls" and "legs", preventing it from falling apart when lifted.
Optionally, add thin felt along the edges of the spikes to avoid scratches and bumps.
