This is a mockup of a Laowa 25mm f/2.8 2.5-5x macro lens. I needed a physical representation of this lens for a DIY telecine Super8 film scanner I'm building and this lens appears to be the one most used. Some 8mm projectors have their film gate very close to the edge of the outer edge of the case; others have it recessed (like mine - a B&H 346A Super8 projector). If the gate is recessed too far, the lens might not fit. If this is the case, then projector case "surgery" is required to fit it in place.
Print this and then space it 3.5cm - 4.5cm away from the film gate as this is the distance the lens must be in order to function properly. I recommend printing with 0.2mm layer height, 2 perimeters, and 15% infill.
I have included both the STL and the Inventor .ipt file in case anyone wants to modify it.
