The model in this project is a simple mount / hanger / hook for a lantern.
The mount can be placed anywhere with just two screws.
The pictures shows an example of outdoor use.
As winter approaches the need for outdoor lighting and coziness arises.
With this simple mount, almost any lantern can be placed anywhere.
Screws
Two screws are needed.
The holes measures 4 mm in diameter.
The depth of the holes measures 5 mm.
Lantern clearance
Any lantern with a handle thickness of 3 mm or below will work with this lantern.
Got a bigger handle on your lantern? I have provided the Fusion360 file if you should need any adjustments.
Print settings
These are the specific settings i used.
Orientation: The file is already oriented correctly. This way the mount will be stronger.
Support: Tree, supporting the mount. Not needed in the holes.
Adhesion: I used brim just in case.
