Two 3d-printed parts:
After printing, press three 5x2mm magnets into the pen side and three 5x2mm magnets into the folio side. Widen the magnet holes as needed with a drill bit. Example 5x2mm magnets I used: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CH9L7NRB
The surfaces around the magnet holes have been bulked up to prevent delamination when pressing in magnets.

The magnetic cap will also stick to the naked edge of some tablets.
