This is a fork of the original DremelFuge. There are two improvements, the most important is on safety. The centrifuge tube is locked in and cannot escape. The second one is the compatibility with different centrifuge size tubes. You have to measure the diameter of the tube, as shown on the picture and choose the right centrifuge tube plate part.
A Dremel can reach 30000 rpm, so it's appropriate for all biology experiments.
This design has been tested at 30000 rpm, it works. When you use this device, you have to put the mobile parts into a solid box to prevent injuries (if it breaks).
Never forget to take the adequate safety precautions (safety glasses, ...).
