I love using an L-Fence for cutting miters. You just have to line the leading edge of the L-Fence to the side of the kerf closest to the L-Fence. When I do this w/ a square, the square is always wandering away. So, I designed and printed this little rascal. The diagonal kerf tongue sets deep enough in the kerf to keep it in place when I bump the L-Fence against it, and the face coming up from the base is dead-even with the fence side of the kerf. I love using 3D prints to solve shop problems.
