Had to dump the self-shimming spring in a friend's Krytac gearset so it could be shimmed properly.
Purchasable plastic parts out there are 3.5 & 3.0mm tall, but I found that 3.4mm worked better when shimming. So I did that one, too. Do not let these touch a bushing or bearing, you must have a shim between them and a bearing/bushing.
These should fit tightly over the splines where the spring used to be. They just pull off.
Print these in something heat tolerant, minimally PETG. Do not use filled plastics for this (CF, glass fiber, etc).
STEP file included, in case someone needs to modify it. The STEP will be of the 3.4mm tall spacer.
