This is an alternative carriage for the 20x20 mini Kossel.
It is intended to be used in conjunction with delrin/pom profile sliders from the likes of Motedis http://www.motedis.co.uk/shop/Dynamics-Basics/Profile-Glide/Slider-B-Type-Slot-6::99999563.html.
The sliders cost about £2.10 ($3.25 each), and are significantly cheaper than any other solution I have seen so far.
The delrin slider is designed to be used for moving panels of glass enclosed within 20x20mm profile aluminium frames along other lengths of 20x20 profile, so the hard part of making an item, with the correct profile, that will not wear significantly over time has already been taken care of.
The sliders are also available for other sizes of aluminium profile, so there is no reason why this design cannot be scaled up for a bigger delta printer, or for other similar uses.
The carriage attaches directly to the slider with three M4x20mm cap head set screws, SAE screws of a similar size could also be used.
The sliders need to be drilled and tapped, as they only come with pilot holes pre drilled, so the carriages will work with any similar sized cap head screw.
You can see the full writeup of this item on my blog http://zebethyalprusa.blogspot.co.uk/2015/04/mini-kossel-build-part-2-frame-again.html
I have included the stl file as well as the sketchup file it was produced from.
