The file 'Koozie – Screw Top 3D Printer Model' is (STL) file type, size is 2.5MB.
Went on a koozie binge and this was the second of the few. It features 4 finger grooves around it, a snug fit to Pepsi cans and Coke cans (I imagine others too!), a hole in the bottom and a threaded top to keep your can secure at all times.
I printed mine with PLA and used a 1mm wall thickness, with 4% gyroid infill to have the most air on the inside for insulation (I haven't tested to see if it works with no infill, but it might). The bottom layer count was increased to be 6mm thick of solid filament to give it extreme stability. The top threads are standard 3"-12, it's what fit the design and I'm not sure if it's the same as ‘other’ off the shelf varieties.
Print a few for your next party, outdoor event, or camping trip. Print different colors to not get mixed up with who's drinks are who's.
Not much else to say about it, it's a koozie to keep your drinks colder for longer and to maybe strike up a conversation about 3D printing while doing it.
The two .STL files are quantity 1 each for the bottom and top parts.
If you're curious about the performance of the koozie compared to ‘Off The Shelf’ Koozies, check out the video below where I actually compare them:
