The original Kobayashi Fidget Cube can feel sharp along straight edges and pointy at corners. This version chamfers all exterior edges and corners, making it softer to the touch. In the picture with an orange and a purple fidget cube, the orange one is this chamfered design, and the purple one is the standard design.
The original designer was kind enough to share a link to his source design on Tinkercad. Fortunately, Tinkercad supports sending a model to Fusion 360, where it was trivial (though tedious) to chamfer each external edge.
