I very much liked the idea of the pot lid holder, but definitely did not want to drill holes in our cabinet doors, so I just added a 3M mounting plate to the existing design (I'm a command strip junkie). No other modifications.
This is the 1.5mm thickness "flap" which seems to hold up well with our glass lids. This flap design is my favorite because it is flexible allowing us to pull the lid outward to get around the lip of the cabinet
This fits the 'Poster Strip' sized 3M command strips (15mm x 40mm) found on Amazon
