The file 'Kingroon KP3s Base With Meanwell PSU Holder 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 403.7KB.
thank you to the original posting designer.
i have not had good luck with inserts so i remixed to use m4 screws direct into the parts.
my changes also include the power supply mounts blended into the frame (setup for the meanwell 350), a modified fan duct for one fan (i used the original case fan from the KP3s, a solid small insert in a cup shape for the rear to give some room for my wire connectors, a mostly solid panel (one hex cut out for the cable) for the left side to help protect the power wires, and the "left" and "right" of each frame section blended together. the frame sections will need to be printed on a larger printer than the KP3s (i used my ender 3).
the overall size of the base and the openings for the accent panels were not changed. i did need to scale/resize the panels a bit to get a flush and tight fit (98% worked for me). use the original designers files for the hex accent panels.
as a side note...i purchased the KP3s specifically to print small flexible items for scale modeling and it has worked great. i found this base very interesting and decided to customize this printer (my others are "stock" and bland looking). this inspired some other mods/remixes you can find in my profile.
Please post your makes and comment if this works for you
