Split Key Rings, all purpose, five sizes

Now here something reeeeally simple - yet (I hope) also really useful (I guess sometimes it's the most simple things are also the most useful...).

I recently decided to reorganize my spare keys, for which I simply needed a few key rings (which of course I did not have). A quick search of Thingiverse ended with some really fancy gadgets (including some really nice ones!) to be attached to the actual key ring but not what I was actually looking for, a simple ring to keep my keys together.

So here a plain and simple set of key rings in five flavors (all measures inner diameter):

• 12 mm inner diameter
• 16 mm
• 20 mm
• 24 mm
• 28 mm

But of course they can easily be scaled to pretty much any size you need them in. Nothing much to add. They work just like their metal counterpart and actually turned out surprisingly strong (it is the friction between the split rings that adds to their strength).

FILAMENT

• As usual (for all those who have seen my other designs) I print mine using this cheap, strong, and easy to print Carbon Fiber PLA , which looks good and adds this little extra strength
• and in Silk Silver and Gold.

PRINTING
Printing is super easy (just make sure you are not printing elephant's feet). Print at 0.2+ resolution and with any infill. No supports or build plate adhesion needed. Use some strong material and infill to get that extra strength.
